Data flow disclosure

Reslie transcribes session audio on the researcher's device — nothing is sent to a transcription service. The text transcript is then processed by Google Gemini for live cues, under the researcher's own account. Disclose this to participants, as you would for any AI tool. Add the following to your consent form:

This session uses an AI research assistant. Your audio is transcribed on the researcher's own device and is not sent to any transcription service. The resulting text transcript is processed by Google Gemini for AI suggestions, under the researcher's own account. Google is US-based and may briefly retain data per its policy, so your data may leave the EU under standard safeguards. Any transcript kept follows this study's retention policy and is deleted when the study ends.
